  • Pursuit Notecard by Kevin Powell This image of two Desert Bighorn Ewes (Ovis canadensis nelsoni) was made in the Wonderland of Rocks during the rut. A persistent ram was pursuing the two ewes across a rocky ridgeline, leading one to jump across a gap in the rocks to escape his desires. This was enough to deter further attempts, allowing the ewes to continue along with their journey.
