Exploring and hiking the Dale Mining District of the Mojave Desert in California has been a passion that has continued to grow throughout my life. It's a place that is barren and rugged, but rich in history of the poeple that once called it home. The people that came here were searching for wealth but had to endure harsh conditions and many challenges. As you explore the remains of the gold mines and the areas that were once the town, you can feel the ghosts of those long since forgotten.

Illustrated with photographs from the past and current day, this book will take you through the history of the Dale Mining Disctrict while sharing my personal exploration expeirences.
